Let this inspire your next shed renovation project

One TikTok user has transformed her tired-looking garden barn into a stylish 'she shed' in just 10 days — and it's pretty impressive.

Chloe Mitchell, a DIY fanatic who has been revamping old spaces during the pandemic, first began to empty the contents of her small storage barn so that it could be cleaned. After this, she wiped down the original wooden beams inside before giving them a fresh lick of white paint.

Once the paint had dried, she then hung fairy lights, filled the space with plants, added cosy textures, and purchased a little bed for her dog, Lilly, too. What once was an unused storage dumping ground is now a calming sanctuary for Chloe to enjoy with her friends.

Speaking about her project, Chloe said: "I decided to make a 'She Shed' on Spring Break 2020 when my senior trip to Key West with all my friends got cancelled due to COVID-19 quarantine. I documented it on TikTok for my friends, which totalled about 34 followers at the time, and before I knew it I amassed more than two million followers!"

Take a look at her clever transformation below:

It’s DONEEEE! Thank you for watching the process and having fun with me. Check out the link in my bio if you want to see a longer she shed tour :))

"Stress levels have increased over time with modern day living and have skyrocketed in the last year due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic. Now more than ever people need time to themselves to do something they love and recharge their batteries. Having a dedicated space like a she shed can be perfect for this."
