The Madrid architecture studio launches an innovative prototype of a mobile homeTiny houses, tiny houses where the useless is left outside the door, and mobile homes, transportable on wheels, on the water, on the road and above all buildable in the blink of an eye: these are the evident trends in the world of housing architecture, loved above all by young and innovative studios that respond to the need to spend little by abandoning all that is superfluous, immersing themselves in nature but without forgetting the aesthetic pleasure. One of the best examples in this chapter of contemporary architecture is that of Ábaton, a Spanish studio that designed the Casa Transportable ÁPH80, a mobile home that can be transported on the road and placed in almost any location.27 square meters of home designed for two people, built thanks to modular systems, with a slender but at the same time robust shape, built entirely of wood and with two large front glass facades, which can be closed with wooden panels.Outwardly it looks like an extremely basic house, almost a child's drawing, smooth and homogeneous, internally the design details and the view on the outside make it unique and welcoming.ÁPH80 consists of three areas: the living area with kitchen, the bathroom with shower and bedroom, in a space of 9 meters long and 3 wide, for 3.5 meters high at the highest point (the shape of the roof is sloping), so that the house is airy and bright. The house integrates perfectly with the natural environment, not only thanks to the aesthetics that do not impact, but also thanks to the organic and often recycled materials. The wood also guarantees the well-being and health of those who live there, corroborated by the ventilated façade and excellent thermal insulation.Externally ÁPH80 is covered with panels made of wood chipboard mixed with concrete.Construction times are minimal: 6-8 weeks to manufacture it, 1 day to assemble it.It is transported by road (by truck) and the total price is around 20,000 euros.Being a modular structure, parts can be added to the basic building of ÁPH80 according to housing needs, increasing the size of the house.Photographs: Juan Baraja Furniture and decorations: BATAVIA (www.batavia.net)
